This past weekend of performances went really well. The entire cast has hit a stride with their individual characters, and we have all found a good rhythm for the show. As I keep telling other cast members, the show can only get better. We did have to address some issues on upstaging, but Stan and Cynthia handled it artfully by reminding everyone about not pulling focus from the action. The show improved after that note. The cast is still getting along well, and word of mouth has done good things for ticket sales. Many people have said this is the best show at ACTORS in a long time. Just one more week of shows, then there may be a lull on my part. Stan told me they are planning to reset the lights, so I may be involved with that later in the summer. However, the bathrooms are being remodeled, so we may have to work around construction.
