Tech

Right now I'm on my lunch break, but in about 45 minutes I'll be back on stage while we iron out some kinks before our first full dress tonight, which also happens to be our only tech before we open the show tomorrow. Then we'll pull down the set, replace it, and do the show we put to bed and haven't touched since last week, with the assumption that we haven't just forgotten it entirely.

There's a lot of tension, but the cast seems to be holding together surprisingly well. We've become really close, especially when you consider the fact that there's fourteen of us living in what is essentially a double wide trailer. The current house goal is to find a vcr at a thrift shop in order to record the Tony's, since we'll be in rehearsal while its airing.

I've been struggling a lot with getting enough sleep, and it feels like no matter what I do I'm always exhausted. I'm really exited to have all five shows opened so I can maybe have some free time and not be in rehearsal all day. We'll see if that actually happens though.
