TITP

We open Les Mis tomorrow night and I can't wait to just open the show.  This changeover has been terrible, no plan, nothing getting done the way it should by the time it should and I am becoming really frustrated with some of the people I work with and even more frustrated that there isn't really anything I can do about it.  I am also supposed to be running spot ops for this show but they decided to put up a vinyl backdrop (its sort of a galactic stars thing so it's like Les Mis IN SPACE!) and the drop is INCREDIBLY reflective so all the spot cues look terrible (much like a lot of other lighting) so we aren't having any spots...which means two of us have nothing to do during this show but sit all night every night.  At least the show is going to be good; singing is outstanding, costumes look great, set is nice, the director is great.  I'm sure we'll have a huge turn out.

And next week we start our second changeover, I have been warned that this one will be just as bad and that's just delightful.  I would love for everyone to do their job for once and allow everything to run smoothly.
