Since I graduated from the Theatre Program at ISU in May 2007, I obtained my Masters in Education with an emphasis in Higher Education, Student Affairs at ISU in May 2010. I currently work at South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD as the Union Services Manager. My day is filled with managing the campus information desk, the student run design center, indoor/outdoor recreation center, central reservations, and advising the Union Student Managers. My days are filled with new adventures; from selling 1400 tickets in one day for a Major Concert on campus to learning the mechanics of large format printers, there is never a dull moment here. I work with approximately 50 students and love each and every one of them! They are truly special in their own ways and love playing practical jokes on me.

I also have been blessed in my personal life! On July 7, 2007 (yes, 07-07-07), I was blessed with a little boy, Hunter James Carstensen. He is all boy when it comes to trucks, tractors, and playing outside, but he does love having random dance and singing parties with me. Another milestone to my life is that I will be getting married this July 16th to my best friend Christopher Noble and we will be joining our two families together. If you are ever around Brookings, SD or the Ivanhoe, MN area, look us up! We have plenty of food and a warm bed if you need one. J
