TITP
So today is Wednesday....open is Friday...and as of last night's rehearsal we still have yet to do a complete run through. Not even a complete cue to cue. The set is also not fully painted, the stage deck has not been finished, and we are waiting for the Park maintenance to hang four giant sliders (the Alps for Sound of Music currently) to be hung.... Currently this is a huge charlie foxtrot but we have two whole days to pull it out of nowhere. I have faith in us. Sort of. Every night we find more awkward dark gaps. We have added about eight instruments, and somehow actors STILL find dark spots. We have requested the SM to keep the actors for focus so they can locate these mysterious dark gaps for us. Our rigging in the grid is so ghetto everything keeps moving in a breeze and I think that is strongly contributing to the gaps. We are still trying to bust it out with what we're working with though. Oh, and one of our super troopers went out last night. If anyone has an idea of why the amperage would be SUPER high and it keeps shutting it's lamp off, let me know. We dug around at the cooling system and all seems fine but it's still damn hot. No one knows enough about them to fix it I guess. Our ME asked our board op. if he could bring the percentage down on the spots from the board ( I guess to try to lower the amperage is what he was going for...?) Um no, idiot. I have lost patience for some people on our crew and I know everyone else has as well. There are also some ugly dynamics happening in the sound crew as well. We arent sure what the deal is this summer but it's looking like we might have to have a personnel come-to-jesus chat. But before that, we have to worry about getting this show up!
