Hairspray opened Friday, the 15th, after a preview the night before and an un-official preview the night before that. Shows have been going well thus far - there are still some kinks with the synchronization of the band, recorded accompaniment, and singers; I've got my fingers crossed that they'll get worked out... eventually. The audiences seem to enjoy the show, but why take their word for it??
