The Theatre in the Park, Shawnee-Mission, Kansas

This will be my second summer with Theatre in the Park in Shawnee-Mission (Kansas City) Kansas. I am working on the light crew and this year by some miracle we are already ahead of schedule.  With three electrics hung and circuited we are feeling pretty good despite our rocky start before we even got to the park.  We have fired an intern, the set designer, and one master electrician (though he has been replaced with Seth, who seems great).  Also, our carps haven't shown up yet, nothing has been built and the stage still needs to be sanded and painted sometime so that will pretty much crush our being ahead of schedule.  But for now, yay!
